Logo Guidelines

Specialty Incentives has established these digital logo and artwork submission guidelines in order to prevent any delays or errors related to computer generated art for use on your promotional product project. Specialty Incentives is one of the most technically advanced distributorships in this regard and we have done our best to support all major formats utilized in the graphic design field. However, if you have any questions that extend beyond the answers provided below please feel free to contact your Account Manager with any concerns you may have.

Digital Logos & Artwork Formats Supported by Specialty Incentives (Mac and PC):

EPS FILES ARE THE PREFERRED FILE FORMAT.

  • Adobe Illustrator. When submitting digital art in this format please include all fonts and imported images.  It is preferred that all copy and text be converted to curves.

  • Adobe PageMaker. When submitting digital art in this format please include all fonts and imported images.  It is preferred that all copy and text be converted to curves.

  • Adobe PhotoShop.

  • Corel Draw.  It is preferred that all copy and text be converted to curves.

  • Macromedia Freehand. When submitting digital art in this format please include all fonts and imported images.  It is preferred that all copy and text be converted to curves.

  • Quark XPress. When submitting digital art in this format please include all fonts and imported images.  It is preferred that all copy and text be converted to curves.

For best registration on final product, art files should be submitted to Specialty Incentives in a vector format (Illustrator, Freehand, or Corel Draw EPS), versus a raster or pixel-based format (Photoshop PSD, PCX, JPG, or EPS).

TIF, JPG, PSD, and Photoshop EPS images are of acceptable quality as long as they are created at 600 dpi (dots per inch) or higher.

JPG (72 dpi or lower), GIF, and BMP (bitmap) images are simply not acceptable due to the poor quality of these graphics.

Images that are placed into such desktop programs as Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint are also not acceptable as digital artwork. These programs do not produce as high of imprint quality.

When submitting artwork via e-mail to your Account Manager please indicate the program and version used for the art generation.

Clients may submit art via:

  • LogoDepot
  • 3.5” floppy disk (Mac or PC)
  • Zip disks
  • CD-ROM
  • E-mail
  • Color separated camera ready art (or for single color imprint camera ready sheet)
