Bob Davis Named Chairman of the Promotional Products Association International

DENVER EXECUTIVE NAMED CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION

Irving, Texas, February 14, 2001— Bob Davis, CAS, owner of Specialty Incentives, Inc., in Denver, has been elected as the Chairman of the Board for Promotional Products Association International.

Davis took office in January, serving the final of a four-year term on the PPAI Board of Directors. His duties as Chairman of the Board include serving as chair of Board of Director meetings, Executive Committee meetings and all Budget and Finance Committee meetings. He will also serve as a PPAI representative at regional association meetings and international trade shows, and other venues, correspond with PPAI members on matters of importance, and serve as host of various member functions.

During his Board term, Davis has served as the board liaison for the PPAI Conventions Committee and the Education Committee, and as the PPAI board liaison to the Regional Association Council. With more than 18 years in the industry, Davis previously served on the PPAI Awards Committee. He currently serves on the Compensation and Benefits and the Strategic Planning committees and is also a member of the MAS/CAS Alumni Association. Regional association involvement includes a term on the board of directors and as president of the Rocky Mountain Regional Specialty Advertising Association.

In addition to his industry volunteer activities, Davis has earned his Certified Advertising Specialist (CAS) professional designation by pursuing extensive training and continuing education course work.

Davis’ community service includes serving on the board of directors and as president of the Lakewood Country Club, on the board of the directors of the Denver Mile High Rotary Club and also on the Denver Mile High Rotary Foundation Board. Also, he has served as a member of the American Heart Association and as president of the Advertising Golf Association.

Davis received his Master’s of Business Administration and Bachelor’s of Business Administration in economics and marketing from Ohio University.
